Target group:

National minorities

Objectives:

To improve the supportive mechanism related to national minorities integration into labour market as well as make stronger non-governmental organisations of national minorities

Goals:

  • Raised qualification of NGO personnel that take part in the integration process
  • Created, tested and estimated the supportive mechanism of integration into labour market
  • To share the tested, improved mechanism in Lithuania area and adapted in Klaipeda region

Innovation:

In Vilnius, Vilnius region and Šalčininkai region the co-operation networks will be established. The networks include governmental organisations and non-governmental organisations of national minorities, municipalities, companies of private business and labour markets. The co-operation network is the connection between different level organisations, the possibility to share information and to solve different problems. The co-operation network is possibility for non-governmental organisations of national minorities to help for persons from national minority group to integrate in to labour market and solve the problem of integration into labour market. In Lithuania are more than 250 non-governmental organisations of ethnic/national minorities and these organisations have big potential and great number of members
In Vilnius, Vilnius region and Šalčininkai region will be found Leaders and Supporters and will be provided training for them.
The main Leaders have been already involved in working out of the project and submitting of application. They will also have the leading role in implementation of the project.

  • Mainstreaming activities;

Planned results:

  • Raised qualification of Leaders and Supporters,
  • 5 thematic co-operation networks in Vilnius, Vilnius and Šalčininkai regions
  • Created 5 additional training programs for unemployed
  • 2 sociological researches
Prospective outcomes:

Would be created more favour social environment for ethnic/national minorities

Lead Partner: Germany Key Objective: identifying explicit and hidden obstacles and difficulties hindering migrants/national (ethnic) minority groups integration into the primary labour market; discussing strategies to overcome those obstacles and difficulties by developing designs for learning and personal development processes; comparison of learning processes in different national/ social contexts

Methods of assessments and competencies
Lead Partner: Italy Key Objective: Examine methods of assessment of migrants/ national (ethnic) minority groups in term of their skill profile, job suitability, the risk factors related to different types of work. Also, examine methods of the competence of employers

Glossary
Lead Partner: France Talent Key Objective: to clarify and fix the common vocabulary and concepts about professional integration of migrants/ national (ethnic) minority groups as well as employers

Methods of mainstreaming
Lead Partner: Lithuania Key Objective Mainstreaming: Besides the usual methods of mainstreaming (publishing innovative results by media, conferences and developing sustainable structures etc) the intention is to explore methods of mainstreaming on DP, on local, regional, national and transnational level by organising and testing continuing dialogues and co-operation with (a) strategic partners, (b) with members of public administration and (c) with politicians on local, regional, national and Transnational level. Special experiences from the participating national DPs will be examined and discussed.

Evaluation
Key Objective: Evaluation and developing tools for Transnational co-operation for each Transnational activity, for supporting the working groups and for enhancing the evaluation of national DPs.

Planned results:

- a report about good practices for overcoming discrimination (on racial, ethnic and gender basis) barriers
- a report about good practices on methods of assessment of migrants/ national (ethnic) minority groups
- a glossary
- an evaluation report on Transnational co-operation and all transitionally developed products/ experiences
- a report about mainstreaming strategies on integrating migrants/national (ethnic) minority groups into labour market
All these results will be available on-line in a special web page.
